The roadmap starts off with the Anniversary Update on September 4 which looks like it will be packed with a tranche of free gameplay expansions and premium cosmetics to keep the Space Marine engagement levels at an all time high.
The Anniversary Update: Space Marine 2 Gets a New Lease of Life
The Anniversary Update (Patch 10) will officially mark the start of Year 2 and it looks like it will be the game’s biggest patch to date. Space Marine players will now be able to enjoy the following additions with the new patch:
Helbrute Onslaught: A new and chaotic PvP mode centered around team-based combat with a new twist of controlling a raging Helbrute demonic machine. The remaning players will now have to fight the demonic machine’s Thunder Hammer and Plasma Cannon powered onslaught.
Stratajemes Mode: A PvE mode that is more dynamic featuring daily and weekly modifiers that include “Hunted”, which has an unkillable Lictor, and “Cadia Stands” that features Imperial Guards as reinforcements. Players are rewarded with Accolades for unlocking heroic gear through the Accolades currency.
New Chaos Spawn enemies, coming with the nightmarish Chaos Spawn, teleport in with three distinct variants. There are also new weapons to try out, such as the Power Axe and the Xenophase Blade, a Necron-inspired weapon for all the Deathwatch fans out there.
Champion Customization: In a more positive light, players are now allowed to piece and modify armor parts from various chapters, creating their own Space Marine champions, although some class-specific limitations still apply.
Alongside the new Black Templars Champion Pack, which centers around the Bulwark class, and the Imperial Fists Cosmetic Pack containing over 40 items for the successor chapters, such as the Crimson Fists and Celestial Lions, Season Pass II is now live.

Focus Together strengthens community development interactions by adding a system with tangible rewards and a place to share ideas. From September 4-18, Twitch Drops will offer engagement of a different kind by giving away exclusive cosmetic rewards.
